Since San Diego and bikinis are basically synonymous, what better location to host the nation's sexiest fashion week, Bikini Week is paradise by the beach? Presented by MTV3 and A Style Concierge, Bikini Week will feature top swimwear designers from around the globe, celebrating the fashion-forward beach vibe of San Diego. Designers will showcase their styles on stunning bikini bodies as spectators enjoy sites in premier nightlife venues.
The kickoff of Bikini Week will begin on June 30th at FLUXX Nightclub. San Diego's newest and hottest venue will host VIPs and special invites for an exclusive grand opening event.
Thursday’s events will take place at Stingaree Nightclub, where more edgy swimwear styles will pace the sky-way runway.
The Ivy Rooftop will be the host of Friday evening’s poolside platform of more designers and musical entertainment. The region's most recognized photographers will be capturing the gorgeous models wearing sneak peeks from the main stage designers on Saturday. Come wearing your summer's best style so you too can jump in front of the cameras and have your pic taken like a super model.
The first daytime fashion segment of Bikini Week’s events will take place the Hard Rock Hotel. On the 3rd of July, the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel will be filled to the brim with Extremelly Sexy Models dancing to the beats of some of San Diego’s best DJ talent. Fashion and music will collide on the main stage inside Woodstock where a plethora of bikini models will take to the catwalk as top musical talent sets the tone.
Sunday, July 4th of July, an American Celebration! This is set to be an intermingling of fashion, beauty, shopping, and local DJ talent. This exciting indoor beach venue, Culy Warehouse, will host a "PIER" runway and sexy lifeguard station setting the tone for Bikini Week lifestyle. This will be BIKINI WEEK's signature event of 2010!
Staying true to the red, white and blue, Bikini Week will host The All American Bikini Girl Contest to seek out the ultimate bikini clad beauty who will reign over Bikini Week. The contest will run throughout the weeks preceding the event on the Bikini Week website and the top 12 models will be announced at Float at Hard Rock and the winner will be announced at the Culy Warehouse. Bikini Week tickets will range from $25 for general admission to $50 for VIP trendsetters. In the name of good times and good deeds, 15% of all ticket sales will be donated to the official charity, Global Flying Hospital.
