Summer time is here and San Diego's fashion followers will be heading to the chic new hot spot FLUXX Nightclub. Southern California has a sexy new nightclub that tantalizes guests with their electrifying lighting system, thunderous sound system and brand new fashion runway. Nearly 1000 guests will pack the house as we kick off the start of Bikini Week 2010. LET's GET IT STARTED...! This night will be a chance for industry professionals, sponsors, designers, and media to do their first "meet & greet". FLUXX will host a special lineup of top DJs who will create the perfect beats and set the tone for our first bikini fashion show. San Diego's own fashion guru Francisco Medavog will showcase his couture line of bikinis for 2011. This local standout will excite your senses with his one of a kind style. FLUXX Nightclub will be the ultimate place to start your holiday week. Be sure to get VIP table service and reserve you best view of the entire venue. After the fashion show celebrate the kick off of the nation's sexiest fashion week. BIKINI WEEK will be the new standard.
Thursday July 1st, 2010 8pm - 2am
Stingaree Nightclub & Restaurant will be the next stop for the Bikini Week crowd. The legendary stories of the Stingaree District will be relived as the bikini models dressed in their edgy bikini designs from around the world walk our elevated runway. Stingaree Nightclub will relaunch their Thursday night rooftop parties just in time for this fashion spectacle. The rooftop is being designed with a whole new vibe, including visual treats like the fire pit VIP areas and like the fire pits our models will be having everyone saying The Roof Is On Fire...! This is a night time event and under the moonlit sky our smoking hot models will have you feeling the heat. The fashion celebration stays here and Stingaree DJs will continue making the roof the hottest place to be.
Friday July 2nd, 2010 8pm - 2am
The Ivy Rooftop at Andaz, in all its splendor, will host the third night of summer fashion styles. There are four spectacular levels to explore at Andaz: the Quarter Kitchen, Ivy Wine Bar, Ivy Nightclub, and Ivy Rooftop. The Ivy Wine Bar, Nightclub and Rooftop will be bustling with photographers taking shots of more Bikini Week models previewing looks for Saturday’s sun stage. This will be our Photo Blitz! There will be a professional photo shoots and a full paparazzi flare taking over the Ivy Rooftop. Recognized as San Diego’s most progressive style team, A Style Concierge will be added to the mix to style your hair and makeup. With your new style upgrade you can jump in front of the photographer’s lens and feel what it’s like to be a super model. With an unprecedented lineup of talent and appearances you can expect an amazing night in one of San Diego’s premier rooftop venues.
Saturday July 3rd, 2010 12pm – Dusk
The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego will be the grand stage for our first daytime fashion show. Our elite designers will be showing off their hottest looks at Float in the Hard Rock. The elaborate stage will be filled with a variety of musical talent and styling by San Diego's most progressive styling team A Style Concierge. The action will be split by an extended runway for all of the VIPs to see. Surrounded by the fashion center piece are ultra luxurious Hard Rock suites and covered private cabanas. Be sure to book your VIP service early as these spaces sell out very early. Expect a star studded crowd of designers, celebrities, buyers, boutique owners, media, and paparazzi, filling the vast space at Float. The San Diego skyline will capture your eye and the roar from Petco Park where the Padres will be hosting the Houston Astros for a day game, will be ringing in your ear. On this special day we will also announce the top 12 models from our online All American Bikini Girl (AABG) contest. Along with the parade of runway beauties and the AABG contest's top 12, you can check out the relaxing pool and dance to the beats of the region’s greatest DJs. Plenty of cocktails to enjoy and plenty sponsor booths to visit, it will be a grand event, and everything that you would expect from Bikini Week.
Sunday 4th of July 2010 12pm-Dusk
The 4th of July !! America's greatest holiday and in San Diego we celebrate by heading to the beach. So for Bikini Week we have chosen to celebrate in the same traditional fashion. On this final day we are making the impossible... possible. We are building an INDOOR BEACH in the Horton Event Space. This is a spectacular 35,000 square foot event space that will be filled with sand, turf, lifeguard tower, and a special custom built pier/runway. No need for sun block or beach towels, because all you'll need is to get VIP seating with complimentary spray tanning, beach chairs, and comfy sand under your feet. This day will be our grand finale event and all of our sponsors will be in attendance to share their brands and products with all of the guests. Expect live music, hi energy DJ talent and live performances from San Diego's hottest acts. This day will be talked about from coast to coast and remembered all year long.
